How do I book a Session?

To book a session, use the contact link to send me an email about your event/session. Once we've settled on a date, I'll send you a PayPal link to pay for your session and officially reserve your booking date.

How long until I get my images?

Once we've completed the session, it is usually a 7-14 day turnaround. You will receive an email with a PIN code to automatically download your high resolution, finished images.

How do I order prints?

You can order prints from the same link that you use to download your images. Just use the shopping cart icon to order images and have them directly shipped to your house!

What is your copyright and duplication policy?

All images belong to Leona May Photography, and as such, cannot be altered, cropped, or edited in any way. Clients will receive a duplication release which allows you to make prints from other vendors at any time if you choose not to print through Leona May Photography. When posting non-watermarked images online, please tag or give recognition to Leona May Photography.

Do you have a studio?

I do not have a studio. I am a natural light photographer so most of my shoots take place outside. However, I also use indoor locations if the look is right for the shoot and has plenty of natural light spilling in the windows. If you have questions, contact me and we'll discuss some options for your shoot!

Do you travel?

Yes! If you aren't from the Springfield, MO area or will be traveling for your event, I'd love to talk with you about travel options. Prices are based on travel rates specific to your destination. I like to keep it as reasonable for you as possible!

Do you have a second shooter?

I almost always shoot by myself. When I go into a shoot, I have a specific style in mind and want to present you with images true to that style. However, if you are having a very large wedding or event, I will occasionally bring in a second shooter to be sure we catch every detail of the day.

What should we wear?

There are no hard and fast rules on what to wear, but here are a few tips to help you feel your best on photo shoot day. Wear something that represents your style as a family/couple/person. Don't feel like you need to go buy something new, just be you. Try to look coordinated without becoming too matchy. Accessories really finish off an image so pay attention to the small details of your outfit. If you'd like to see more examples of what to wear, visit my Pinterest board for more inspiration.

How does birth photography work?

I take on a very limited number of birth clients a year to be sure they won't overlap. It's best to contact me about booking your birth as soon as you have an idea about your due date. Obviously, that date can and probably will change, but it will give us something to work with. I am usually there for laboring, delivery, and first moments (ie. measuring, nursing, first bath, cuddles with mom and dad, meeting siblings, etc) depending on how your labor progresses. This can be done for a home or hospital birth, so contact me and we will talk about what is important to you during your baby's birth.
